- Young Happy Healthy and Safe is a registered non- profit-making Community Based Organization operating in Eastern Province of Zambia for the past 19 years, and currently operating in 8 of the 14 districts of Eastern Province namely: Chadiza, Chipangali, Chipata, Kasenengwa, Katete, Nyimba, Petauke and Vubwi districts..
About Us
YHHS’s goal is to promote public health programme such as sexual and reproductive health rights, comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), gender-based violence, Menstrual Health Management, Mental Health and Psycho-social Support Services, reduction of teenage pregnancy and early and forced marriages

Activities:
Conduct demand creation and referral generation for continuum of care for the targeted population
- Formation of reflect youth groups for AYP to learn and take up behaviors that do not undermine their health.
- Health Promotion and Demand Creation for young vulnerable people
- Training and engaging YVP into entrepreneurships skills and group savings and loan behaviors’ that can lead to significant improved health later on in life.
- Conducting community health education to improve access to relevant health information and the skills to develop risk avoidance or risk reduction behaviors.
- Periodically conducting stock monitoring for SRH and HIV commodities to frequently inform the supply chain to intensify supply in facilities with limited access to adolescent responsive health services, especially in regards to sexual and reproductive health (SRH).
- Formation and strengthening of community dialogues to address traditional and cultural determinants to health for adolescents and young people
